Once your membership has been processed you will receive your membership pack which includes 2 Toastmaster manuals;  the Competent Communicator manual, and the Competent Leadership manual. These manuals give you everything you need to allow you to begin making your own powerful speeches. You will also receive a monthly Toastmaster magazine which is packed full of great features as well as great speaking tips.

                                                   Competent Communicator Manual

The Competent Communicator manual has 10 speech themes ranging from the 'Icebreaker' which is a short speech just introducing yourself to the club, and goes all the way to 'Inspiring your Audience' which is a 10 minute speech aimed at inspiring your audience. Each speech comes with it's own speech objectives.

            Competent Leadership Manual

The Competent Leadership manual contains all the roles which make up a typical Toastmasters meeting. Each time you take on one of these roles, you fill in the manual. This allows you to work towards achieving the 'Competent Leadership Award,' which is great for your CV! And each time you take on a role, you are further developing your speaking skills.
